Over the next 25, 26 and 27 September, the Central Design at Matadero Madrid will become the reference hub foodie design.
The goal of Big Food, in this first edition, is to give prominence to the interaction between food and design (either graphic, textile, industrial, fashion, packaging, product, interior, service, online ...) bringing together chefs, restorers (from the most traditional to the most trendy) and producers (always with a contemporary profile, craftsman, sustainable, organic and proximity) with the most outstanding creators of the design world arise where different, innovative and unexpected synergies.

The format will be the boot lid, but the synergy is open to the creativity of the ephemeral couples were announced after a careful selection process in which are some of the protagonists of the gastronomic scene and the current design. From Michelin-starred chefs to young people who succeed with pop-up and / or streetfood spaces. An example? A chef creates a bite and a designer stand where taste it, the atmosphere, the graphic or, why not, also participates in the development of the cover itself.

"Big Food, grrrreat market", claims that consumers can enjoy great dishes in small formats through the creations of more than 25 gastronomic spaces that make this new concept. But Big Food is much more than food and drink workshops, show cooking, gourmet food market and design, online content ... will complete a unique experience where food reaches the category of art.
