Loewe abre sus puertas al público este fin de semana

El grupo LVMH celebra la cuarta edición de las jornadas de puertas abiertas de sus casas de lujo los próximos días 13 y 14 de octubre. LOEWE es la única firma de moda del grupo LVMH que se suma a esta iniciativa en España. En esta edición, la firma española nacida en 1846 abrirá sus puertas en CASA LOEWE, su buque insignia de Madrid ubicado en la calle Serrano, 34 para dar a conocer su saber hacer artesanal y la calidad de sus pieles organizando acciones dirigidas al gran público y clientes. 

Sábado 13 y domingo 14 de octubre. Entrada libre. 

• Exposición ‘LOEWE: Pasado, Presente, Futuro’: Esta exposición reúne más de 50 artículos únicos de piel recuperados de los archivos de LOEWE. La muestra incluye desde objetos de la primera época, como neceseres y otros artículos de viaje, hasta los bolsos más icónicos actuales de la firma, pasando por colecciones tan emblemáticas como la ‘Manhattan’, ‘Ante Oro’ o ‘Grandes arquitectos’. 
• Making of del bolso Gate: Durante estas jornadas, LOEWE ofrece un taller de artesanía en el que se hará una demostración del proceso de fabricación del nuevo bolso icono de la firma: el modelo Gate. En él, un maestro artesano experto explicará los secretos que encierra cada uno de los pasos de este trabajo: el corte, el montaje, el ensamblaje y la costura de cada una de las piezas.

• Visita guiada por CASA LOEWE Madrid: Un paseo por el interior de CASA LOEWE Madrid que transporta al apartamento de un ávido coleccionista de arte. Un amplio catálogo de antigüedades británicas originales y una gran colección de arte cuidadosamente seleccionada para el espacio por Jonathan Anderson, director creativo de la firma: piezas de artistas como Sir Howard Hodking, Richard Smith o Siobhan Hapaska, William McKeown o la española Gloria García-Lorca. 
• Taller infantil para los más pequeños: En él, los niños que acudan a la tienda con sus padres podrán crear su propia versión adaptada del bolso Mini Gate, y llevárselo consigo. Este taller también ofrece una actividad con los ‘charm’ de animalitos de otoño que les permitirá iniciarse a la artesanía a través de las pieles LOEWE de formas y colores más divertidos.

The LVMH group celebrates the fourth edition of the open houses of its luxury homes on the 13th and 14th of October. LOEWE is the only fashion firm of the LVMH group that joins this initiative in Spain. In this edition, the Spanish firm born in 1846 will open its doors in CASA LOEWE, its flagship of Madrid located in Calle Serrano, 34 to publicize its artisanal know-how and the quality of its skins by organizing actions aimed at the general public and customers.

• Exhibition 'LOEWE: Past, Present, Future': This exhibition gathers more than 50 unique articles of leather recovered from the LOEWE archives. The exhibition includes everything from the first period, such as toiletry bags and other travel items, to the most iconic bags of the firm today, including emblematic collections such as 'Manhattan', 'Ante Oro' or 'Grandes arquitectos'.
• Making of the Bag Gate: During these days, LOEWE offers a craft workshop in which a demonstration of the manufacturing process of the new bag icon of the firm will be made: the Gate model. In it, an expert master craftsman will explain the secrets that each one of the steps of this work contains: the cutting, the assembly, the assembly and the sewing of each one of the pieces.

• Guided tour of CASA LOEWE Madrid: A stroll through the interior of CASA LOEWE Madrid that transports to the apartment of an avid art collector. An extensive catalog of original British antiquities and a large collection of art carefully selected for the space by Jonathan Anderson, creative director of the firm: pieces by artists such as Sir Howard Hodking, Richard Smith or Siobhan Hapaska, William McKeown or the Spanish Gloria García- Lorca
• Children's workshop for children: In it, children who come to the store with their parents can create their own adapted version of the Mini Gate bag, and take it with them. This workshop also offers an activity with the 'charm' of autumn animals that will allow them to start the craft through the LOEWE skins of more fun shapes and colors.
