TUYU Shoes is much more than a footwear firm. Born just over a year and a half ago, this Girona brand of author's shoes pays homage in its collections to aesthetics, respect for nature and the importance of family ties from different ethnic groups on the planet.

Its latest novelty: the 'ICONIC Leopard', a limited edition of the sneakers type shoes that adapt to the animal print trend, without laces and with a comfortable quilted plant. Both the lining and the plant are made of goat skin that, in addition to being perfect for the proper development of the foot, absorbs moisture and odors.

Along with this, it has also launched its new children's collection. It is a line of unisex sneakers inspired by the village 'Sami', which lives in Lapland, a region that extends to the north of Norway, Sweden and Finland and a small part of Russia. As explained by the designer and creator of the brand, Tura Giraut: "To create this line I have taken as reference the colors and skins of the typical costumes of the Lappish people. The result is high-quality shoes, comfortable and resistant that adapt to the winter adventures of the little ones".

All the collections of this firm are manufactured by hand in the Valencian Community and part of its sales benefits are allocated to the ONG 'Survival' that fights for the rights of indigenous and tribal peoples. In addition, with each pair sold, it incorporates a certified cotton tote bag designed by the Girona illustrator Anagaro that has been inspired by the 'Sami', an ethnic group to which Tuyu Shoes has dedicated its winter collection.
