Su objetivo reside en reciclar, dar una segunda vida a las cosas. De ahí que su lema sea "Del deshecho al deseo". En ARTAPS trabajan las joyas una a una, imaginándolas, diseñándolas y haciéndolas realidad. Por eso, cada joya que realizan es única y diferente.
Esta firma, perteneciente al colectivo Tenerife Moda, comenzó con diversos elementos plásticos como bolsas, botellas o tapones hasta llegar al CD. Su nueva colección para esta primavera verano 2020, llamada GEA, se basa en el empleo de la fibra de los cactus, trabajada con oro oxidado y rematada por bolas de cd’s reciclados.
La inspiración de GEA, es evidentemente marina, con rayos de sol y pompas de mar. Con ella quieren trasmitir de nuevo que cualquier objeto puede ser renovado y ennoblecido, convirtiéndose en una pieza de lo más original.
Its objective is to recycle, give a second life to things. Hence, its motto is "From undone to desire". In ARTAPS the jewels work one by one, imagining them, designing them and making them a reality. Therefore, each jewel they make is unique and different.
This firm, belonging to the Tenerife Moda collective, began with various plastic elements such as bags, bottles or caps until it reaches the CD. Its new collection for this spring summer 2020, called GEA, is based on the use of cactus fiber, worked with oxidized gold and topped by recycled cd’s balls.
The inspiration of GEA is obviously marine, with sun rays and sea bubbles. With it they want to express once again that any object can be renewed and ennobled, becoming a piece of the most original.
