Proveniente de la alta peluquería francesa en la que se formó. el estilista Álex Sestelo nos esboza sus propuestas en cortes y color para este 2024.
Cortes chic que sean versátiles
- Corte Pixie más largo y desenfadado. Las capas asimétricas y textura despeinada serán las protagonistas en los cortes pixie, que ya no serán tan cortos, sino que se construyen con diferentes longitudes y predomina la textura natural sobre el liso pulido. Este corte ofrece un look fresco y juvenil, perfecto para quienes buscan un cambio.
- Bob Midi desconectado. Un corte bob nunca por debajo de la barbilla con capas desconectadas que proporcionan movimiento y fluidez. Predominarán los escalados, con flequillo, ondulados, con textura, a capas... Este estilo es versátil y se adapta a diferentes tipos de cabello.

Colores sutiles y muy naturales
- Balayage de tonos cálidos. El balayage con tonos como cobre y miel será tendencia. Este estilo agrega calidez y luminosidad al cabello, creando un efecto de "besado por el sol".
- Reflejos dimensionales caramelo. Reflejos en tonos caramelo para agregar dimensión y brillo al cabello. Este estilo es sutil pero impactante, aportando luminosidad sin alejarse demasiado del color natural.

- Rojo Terciopelo. Ya empezó con fuerza este otoño con el tono Cowboy Copper, pero en 2024 va a tener diferentes variantes y una de ellas es el ‘Rojo terciopelo’.Con el frío, la tendencia dicta que el pelirrojo va a cambiar a un tono más oscuro. Si no eres pelirroja natural y tienes, por ejemplo, las raíces oscuras, quedará genial porque le dará un efecto degradé de negro a rojo increíble. Este tono lo pueden defender tanto pieles oscuras, como más claras.
- Spiced Ginger. Este tono de pelirrojo es ideal para cabellos castaños porque le aporta un brillo y tono cobrizo muy intenso. Se puede combinar con mechas efecto glossy, subtonos carmesí o aclararlo un poco más. Es ideal para pieles claras y rosadas.

- Rubio Platino. El rubio platino – hielo aporta muchísima luminosidad. De hecho, si quieres que tu pelo brille y no quede mate, recomiendo no abusar de los champús violetas para dar paso a cosmética capilar para cabellos teñidos y así mantener el pelo brillante por más tiempo. Ideal para pieles claras.
- Negro azabache. Visto en la temporada pasada, también imperará en 2024 en melenas oscuras. Es muy vivo, intenso, aporta un halo de misterio y, aunque sea muy oscuro, podemos darle también un punto más glossy realizando tratamientos nutritivos que potencien el color negro azabache.Es un color que se puede adaptar a todo tipo de rostros, tanto como pieles más claras, como más oscuras.
- Latte Bronde. El color café con leche ha evolucionado hacia un ‘café con leche con unas gotas de vainilla’. Añadir reflejos rubios a este tipo de castaño hace que quede bien en todos los tipos de piel, aunque sí es cierto que aquellas que tienen una piel más bronceada y oscura lo defienden mejor. Trucos: puede mezclarse con balayages rubios efecto playa y peinarse con ondas para que los diferentes tonos resalten en la melena.
Mechas para todos los estilos
- Mechas grey blending. Este tipo de mechas van dirigidas para los casos que quieren ir dejando las canas y que no haya saltos de color bruscos entre el color oscuro natural o artificial (tinte) y las canas.
- Mechas babylights. Son las más demandadas por excelencia en los salones. Y es una técnica muy favorecedora ya que iluminamos la melena en sí globalmente con hilos dos tonos más claro que tu tono y aporta mucha luz.
- Melting. Esta técnica consiste en que el color se funda de manera progresiva y difuminada, creando un brillo totalmente natural. Es la más sutil de todas. Pueden ser en todo tipo de tonos, desde rubios, cobres, rojizos, castaños, etc.
- Mechas efecto glossy. El efecto glossy busca el brillo duradero en el pelo, pero de forma natural. son unas variantes de las babylights pero con menos contrastes.
- Contouring. Con esta técnica jugamos con los volúmenes e iluminaciones del rostro. Es una técnica muy favorecedora, ya que, al iluminar, relajamos las facciones y damos un aire más rejuvenecedor.
- Mechas halo. Aportan luz al rostro, pero de una manera más sutil y natural que otro tipo de mechas como, por ejemplo, el face framing o las babylights. Consiste en aplicar un tono más claro alrededor del rostro para dar luminosidad y crear diferentes dimensiones. Favorecen a todo tipo de cabellos y de rostros.
