Holidays in sight and that makes us start thinking about what kind of pieces we want to accompany us this summer. Unique designs, vibrant colors, natural materials and as the main premise, sustainability, below I bring you some of the firms with which you will succeed in the looks of the coming months.

The swimsuits, undisputed kings of the summer period
  • Founded by designer Melina Bernardini (family member of the first woman to walk in a swimsuit), Bionda is a luxury swimwear brand, influenced by 1960s photography and inspired by the iconic French Riviera and Rio de Janeiro of the 70s: A memory of the sophistication that accompanied the vacations of the time. All its pieces are produced, designed and manufactured ethically in different locations in Europe and LATAM and small runs of each collection are carried out to reduce waste and eliminate the possibility of overproduction.
  • Bohodot is a bathroom brand with a 100% local production, made from recycled fabrics and fibers. Committed to sustainability, its creators, Peke de Fortuny and Cristian Torres (mother and daughter) are always committed to responsible collections that shape bikinis and swimsuits, manufactured in small km0 workshops. Inspired by the beauty and richness of nature, their garments reconnect us with organic life. A different brand, with a Mediterranean, free and romantic spirit
The trendsetting accessory

Celebrate the arrival of good weather with KAUSI, which has just launched a collection of reversible scarves and bows in a satin finish with their already recognizable patterns to give strength and vitality to summer outfits. In collaboration with Bárbara Pan de Soraluce from Los Platos de Pan, it has launched the Peonia Nuit scarf. Two large flowers accompanied by subtle leaves and butterflies drawn in black, on an ecru background. In addition, one of the most recent designs that the artist has worked with, Lemon, takes the form of both a scarf and a bow. Together with Gastón and Daniela, the Versalles bond was born. On one side, the mythical toile de jouy print in blue tones on a white background from the prestigious high-end textile decoration firm. On the other, a striped print in blue tones, perennial in the world of fashion, a guaranteed success.

A classic of the summer, the carrycot
  • Box San Sebastián has designed two models. HOPE is made of raffia with contrasts finished in leather. Inspired by nature and its shapes, they have adapted the characteristic braiding of angles at 90 degrees that is made of raffia to achieve a new fabric with a very light and “rustic” texture made with cotton and polyamide fibers, which they have called Raffia. DELUXE. The other, CABAS is made by master craftsmen with the best bovine leather, seamless, with flap closure and Ondas inner lining, inspired by La Concha beach in San Sebastián, a sustainable fabric of the San Sebastian brand, made with nylon 100% regenerated Econyl® from the recovery of abandoned fishing nets in our oceans and other waste.
  • For its part, the Almería firm MONA MOON surprises us with its Creta and Dream carrycot made of leather with short and long handles so that you can hang it on your shoulder, and zip closure. Crete is dusty pink and Dream is a sky blue that will not go unnoticed.
  • Jute bags, the biodegradable fiber that triumphs every summer. Jute is a vegetable fiber that is extracted from the stem and bark of the Corchorus capsularis plant. It is a 100% natural, ecological, biodegradable and reusable material. It is also a very resistant material and perfect for summer. True to its philosophy of using natural materials, BIBA presents two collections of bags made with jute.
Espadrilles are reinvented

Shoes with esparto soles reappear every summer, demonstrating their great ability to adapt to any environment and situation. TOD'S picks up this timeless trend and makes it its own by creating comfortable and versatile models. These espadrilles, in Slip-On format, are made of soft leather with neutral tones, decorated with a leather-lined chain and with esparto side trims. The rubber sole does not forget its iconic Gommino spheres at its base. In leather or with crochet details, this fusion model of espadrille with moccasin, are the best example of footwear that you will not take off this summer.

Jewels that will make you shine
  • Good vibes are what the new designs of the collection of the Barcelona jewelry brand ELEONOR DE CASANOVAS transmit. Multicolored discs, clasps with sailor knots bathed in gold, hematite, onyx, lapis lazuli and XL-size turquoise stones, which you can even personalize with your initial. Pieces made by hand in its workshop in Barcelona with great care to wear alone or mixing them with other necklaces.
  • The Menorcan jewelry firm Vidal & Vidal launches a collection made up of necklaces, bracelets and anklets with a Mediterranean flavor and in full color. Its pieces are the most wearable and highlight the tan so you can wear them from morning to night.
And in sports fashion, the most refreshing t-shirt

This is the UYN Alpha Coolboost for running, trail running and ultra races made with the innovative special Freshcore yarn and T-Hexagon technology. A combination that provides an instantly refreshing effect thanks to the air current that is created between the fabric and the skin and great comfort due to its softness and elasticity, which also facilitates maximum freedom of movement, favors ventilation and drying. fast, especially in those areas of greater perspiration. It is the ideal shirt for running in temperatures above 30ºC and in hot environments. To provide greater comfort and visibility at night, it is made with a round neck that prevents chafing and incorporates the reflective logo on the back for night running.

In addition to the t-shirt, the Alpha Coolboost line also features running trousers with the same technologies. As in the case of the shirt, the fabric is made of Natex, a natural and environmentally friendly fabric whose fibers come from castor bean.
