Del 24 al 27 de octubre tendrá lugar el X Salón del Chocolate en el Centro Comercial Moda Shopping de Madrid, que este año recreará una plantación natural de 8 metros y exhibirá diversos utensilios aztecas. Con la colaboración de la Comisión Nacional del Cacao de la República Dominicana, el centro realizará un recorrido por el origen del chocolate, desde su fabricación hasta su degustación en diez etapas.
Asimismo, durante la visita al Salón se podrá disfrutar de una exposición con las figuras de chocolate más representativas de las nueve ediciones anteriores, como monedas históricas o una muestra de la colección de zapatillas Converse, entre otras. Todo ello, acompañado por numerosas actividades desde talleres, catas, maridajes de oporto y chocolate, hasta gymkanas para niños. Este año, será el maestro pastelero Justo Almendrote el encargado de inaugurar el salón con la presentación del bombón especial del Salón del Chocolate realizado a base de melón con jamón, en el Espacio Hokiba a las 12.00h, y con la creación de una figura especial conmemorativa del esta edición creada con chocolate.
El mundo de la cosmética tendrá su presencia asegurada ya que no faltarán tampoco las sesiones de maquillaje a base de este dulce así como tratamientos hechos con mascarillas de cacao que harán las delicias de los asistentes.
