El enfoque que aplica la firma española SANTAPALMA en todos sus diseños se basa en dar valor a la belleza real, la auténtica belleza de la vida. Sus bolsos respiran la filosofía de la austeridad y la revalorización de los materiales rústicos, cercanos, con formas simples, orgánicas y únicas.

Creada hace algo más de dos años por Elisabeth Colom, arquitecta de profesión, todas las piezas que diseña son el reflejo del equilibrio entre diseño y naturaleza y están dotadas de un estilo rústico- minimalista muy característico que se aprecia ya desde el nombre de dicha firma. Éste hace referencia al material con el que se fabrican, el palmito, que está muy ligado a la tradición; pero también se refiere a Palma, la ciudad en la que reside. 

Como no podía ser de otra manera, SANTAPALMA defiende el consumo sostenible y responsable, así como el slow fashion. Sus procesos de fabricación son artesanales y locales (producidos en talleres familiares de Mallorca), precisamente para no perder esta magia de conexión con lo natural y lo genuino, y conseguir que cada bolso tenga vida propia. 

No existen dos iguales, no siguen las tendencias ni los tiempos que marca la industria de la moda, sus bolsos son objetos para consumirlos lentamente y llamados a permanecer durante mucho tiempo como una pieza clave  de fondo de armario.

The approach applied by the Spanish firm SANTAPALMA in all its designs is based on giving value to real beauty, the true beauty of life. Its bags breathe the philosophy of austerity and the revaluation of rustic, close materials, with simple, organic and unique shapes.

Created a little over two years ago by Elisabeth Colom, an architect by profession, all the pieces she designs are a reflection of the balance between design and nature and are endowed with a very characteristic rustic-minimalist style that can already be seen from the name of said firm. . This refers to the material from which they are made, palm heart, which is closely linked to tradition; but it also refers to Palma, the city in which she resides.

How could it be otherwise, SANTAPALMA defends sustainable and responsible consumption, as well as slow fashion. Its manufacturing processes are artisanal and local (produced in family workshops in Mallorca), precisely so as not to lose this magic of connection with the natural and the genuine, and ensure that each bag has its own life.

There are no two alike, they do not follow the trends or the times that the fashion industry marks, their bags are objects to consume slowly and called to remain for a long time as a key piece of wardrobe.
